Remote consultations for dog behaviour

Support your dog from the comfort and safety of home. Based in East Lothian, Best Behaviour offers expert, clinical remote behaviour consultations across the UK, helping pets work through emotional difficulties without the stress of an unfamiliar visitor.

Key challenges we address remotely

Online assessments are ideal for sensitive dogs whose issues escalate around new people or clinical environments. We routinely achieve outstanding, sustainable results for complex behavioural issues.

Separation anxiety and phobias

Targeted desensitisation programmes to resolve distress when left alone, noise fears, storm phobias, and deep-seated trauma without unnecessary exposure stress.

Resource guarding

Safe, low-pressure behavioural modifications to address guarding behaviours over food, chews, toys, resting spots, and family members.

Fear and aggression

Comprehensive functional analysis to identify fear triggers, address reactivity or aggression towards people and dogs, and establish calmer routines.

Why choose a video consultation?

Through remote consultations, we can observe your pet in their natural home environment without the heightened stress, fear, or adrenaline triggered by a strange visitor or a clinic setting—allowing for a more accurate functional assessment and a calmer start to their learning journey.
